We regretfully have to keep our prospective clients informed that the Tour Programs once booked based on Final Itinerary agreed upon and subsequently cancelled shall be subject to Cancellation Charges as follows:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many tourists who had booked their trips to Bhutan have had to cancel their plans. However, some of them may be unaware of the cancellation charges that apply to their bookings. According to the Department of Tourism, the cancellation charges are as follows:


  • More than 30 days before the start of the tour: No charge
  • 15 to 30 days before the start of the tour: 20% of the rate
  • 7 to 14 days before the start of the tour: 50% of the rate
  • Less than 7 days before the start of the tour or without notice: 100% of the rate
  • After arrival in Bhutan: No refund


Therefore, tourists are advised to check their booking details and contact their tour operators if they have any questions or concerns regarding the cancellation charges.
